Talatona Fitness Fair 2025
31 May & 1 June — movement, community, and wellness in the heart of Talatona.
Luanda moved — and moved well. On 31 May and 1 June, Talatona turned into a vibrant stage of wellness and vitality. The Fitness Fair brought together brands, athletes, locals, and enthusiasts in an uplifting atmosphere, under bright sun and contagious energy.
There was a bit of everything: sports gear, healthy food, gym promotions, fitness clubs, and local brands focused on active lifestyles. But it wasn’t just for browsing — it was about taking part.

- Yoga classes (morning balance and breathwork)
- CrossFit sessions (skills, WODs, partner workouts)
- Dance demonstrations (open level, inclusive)
- Sports competitions and mini-challenges
- Music, tastings, and brand activations

Sunday began with extra purpose — my husband was running in the morning race. At 8:00, he was already focused and warming up. I didn’t film much, but loved being there to support him and soak in the energy on site.
After the run, we explored the fair at an easy pace. From protein shakes and activewear to healthy snacks and local gym booths, the whole space felt like a health-focused festival.

Between a smoothie stand and a gym promo booth, we bumped into Yannick Cruz, a familiar face in Angola’s fitness scene and a good friend of my husband. Besides being a singer, Yannick owns FitNick, a sports store that promotes more than fitness — it’s about health, energy, and community.
Address: Rua Augusto Tadeu Bastos, nº 42 – Maianga (just before the Air Force – FAPA, parallel to 28 de Maio)
Opening hours: Monday–Friday: 8:00–17:00 · Saturday: 8:00–18:00

Events like this one show the growing impact of health and fitness culture in Angola. It wasn’t just about selling products — it was about building a wellness community where people, brands, and ideas come together to inspire and grow.
This film includes several places across Luanda, with a segment at the fair.
