My visit & opinion
Café del Mar isn’t new to me, my sister absolutely loves hanging out there. And honestly… I get it!
The place has beautiful decor, the kind that looks like it came straight out of a magazine, but without feeling overdone.
It has this tropical chic vibe, relaxed but stylish, the kind of spot where you can show up all dressed up or just in
sunglasses and a light dress and still feel like you’re somewhere special.
The whole atmosphere invites you to unwind. The ocean view, the soft music, the friendly service… it all comes together
to give you that holiday feeling, even if you’re just popping in for lunch. You can tell they paid attention to the details, from the furniture to the colors, even the scent in the air as you walk in.
That day, I didn’t go planning to film, but once I arrived, I realised this place definitely deserved to be featured.
It’s beautiful, peaceful, and has just the right amount of sophistication without being pretentious. It feels like a mix
of Luanda and the world: stylish people, good food, cocktails making their way to tables, and that ocean breeze you can only
get on Luanda Island.
If you’re looking for a place to sit by the sea, eat well, and forget about the city’s chaos for a while… Café del Mar is
a safe bet. And now I totally understand my sister, I already want to go back too.
